 What Exactly Is Affiliate Marketing Definition?

Affiliate Marketing in basic terms an agreement with the affiliate network and the website owner (product vendor), where an affiliate is permitted to place advertisements such as banners, text links or written product or service reviews on their website for the marketing of that vendor’s products or services by using tracked links to the vendor’s online business. Each time a sale is made using the tracked link a commission is given to that particular affiliate marketer. The commissions can range from a couple dollars to a couple thousand dollars depending on what product the affiliate marketer is promoting online.

I would recommend beginners read some quality E-books, or join a club based around affiliate marketing to get your feet wet at first - but its definitely not mandatory. What other business model out there offers so much for so little?

The question has come into everyone's mind at one point or another."How do I make money fast?" Luckily for everyone who has ever had that question come to mind there is an answer! There are several ways to make money quickly online, now we will venture through the online category.

Let's begin with associated content. Associated content should be the number one stop for those people who frequently ask themselves, how I could make money fast. Associated Content requires you to write content, which in other words for those who aren't familiar with the online language, content means articles.

Associated Content requires that you write articles for them, they will pay you anywhere from $3 to $40 for your content.

Most of the time however the bids that they place on your content are for much less than $10. However, this is still a great way to make money online if you can type several articles per day. You may be surprised to see how easy it has become to earn a part time income through writing for Associated Content.

The next site that we will talk about is Cash Crate. Cash Crate is a site that pays you to take surveys. They may pay anywhere from a dollar to possibly a hundred dollars, just for you to take a survey.

Doesn't sound too bad now does it? The reason they pay you to complete surveys is that companies are willing to shell out loads of cash for in-depth information from their consumers to find out exactly what they word on the street is about their product or services.

They even have a daily survey on the homepage that is guaranteed to make you some extra income; the guaranteed survey on the homepage pays $0.80. It may not seem like much but do the math, over a 30 day time period. That is almost $30 extra dollars just for taking surveys.

Are you still asking yourself that question, how do I make money fast? Well if writing tons of articles and taking surveys doesn't really sound like your cup of tea, there is always the alternative of Forum Booster.

Forum Booster is a website that pays you $0.10 for each post you make on a forum. This is great for those of us that would be searching and posting on forums either way, why not get paid for it? If you can post sixty posts in 1 hour, you can make $6, which is not that bad for earning money online.

My next step to earn money online would be to learn from people who are already making a great living online. This would involve reading a good e-book, or joining an at home earn money online program, that can take you step by step by the hand, and show you exactly how to be successful in your money making quest from home. Remember, knowledge is power and power is money. Spend about 25% of your time learning how to make money, and the other 75% of the time actually accomplishing your tasks at hand. Even if you're not an affiliate marketer, you still need to know and understand this concept, if you're serious about generating a substantial income from the Internet. This is a free course, just Google it and read up on this concept. Okay, so now you have signed up to some affiliate marketing networks, you're starting to learn to earn money online. Hopefully you read some good e-books, or joined a highly ranked course to teach you how to make money with.You've read up on the bum marketing method, and have a basic understanding of the basic concept being taught. Let's move on to step five, this is the good part! This will show you how to earn money online through classifieds, forums, articles, blog posting, and your own affiliate marketing website.

Tip number five: I always recommend new affiliates to start writing classifieds, to get a basic understanding on how to rank your classifieds high for your chosen keywords. Once you start getting your classifieds ranked on the first page of Google for the title phrase you are going after you have learned the bum marketing method successfully, and should start earning some money online through the classified ads that you write. Some of my favorite online classifieds to use are US free ads, craigslist, and kijiji. Kijiji is eBay's online classified website. Don't ask me how they came up with that name laugh out loud. All that I know is they get a decent amount of traffic so take advantage of that. There are tons of other online classifieds out there to earn money with, but these are my three favorites. So feel free to experiment!

Tip number six to earn money online: Posting an article directories! Extremely important, article directories have great sticking power on the Internet. This means the articles that you write will be floating around on the Internet for years to come. They can be earning you money now and well into the future. You want to write articles based around whatever affiliate product you are trying to promote. My favorite article directories are hubpages, Ezinearticles, E. how, article dashboard, and go articles. Remember, use an article directory such as those listed that has a high page rank. So you can rank high for your keyword phrases on the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing! Writing articles is free, and is one of the most effective ways to drive free targeted traffic to your website, blog, or affiliate ads. So you can inevitably earn a lot of money online through writing quality articles. Article writing is too powerful to ignore, so take advantage of this opportunity, and start writing some articles.

Tip number seven to earn money online: I already told you about the importance of online forums above to learn some money making tips. But there is a very important feature that you can take advantage of through forum directories. That is, most online forums out there allow you to have a signature link. A signature link is basically a link to whatever you want, it could be an affiliate product you are promoting, a link to your website, or a link to a blog etc... whatever you are trying to promote online, and make money through you can put a link to that product in your signature for that particular forum. Once you set up your signature link, every forum post that you make in that particular forum will show up with your signature link at the bottom. The more active you are in that forum, the more publicity you can get from your signature posts. If you have a good product in your signature posts, you can earn a few bucks just from posting in online forums, through your forum posts. So take advantage of forum postings!

1. Ezinearticles.com - Hugely popular article directory all the top affiliate marketers use them - Including the Internet Gurus. You would be a fool not to submit some articles to them. Great backlinks - and tons of traffic make Ezinearticles a winner!

2. Hubpages - I do really well earning some extra cash online through Hubpages - There hubs when written properly convert very well into affiliate sales. I am not saying you have to be Stephen King - Just sound like you know what you are talking about and you should make some money. Benefits - High page rank website, and tons of traffic. Tip for affiliates -  Be active in there online forum you will receive a lot more traffic by being an active forum poster!

3. Betternetworker - Very good traffic source I see some great results by submitting articles on there website. Cool Tip - If your article has received a lot of views in any given day - They will put your article on the front page of there website for more free traffic you cant beat that fringe benefit! Its called most viewed articles category. Make sure to use a catchy title marketers!

4. Ehow - All how to articles very easy to write and submit an article all they require is 4 steps - But each step only has to be a couple sentences at the minimum. So needless to say you can write an Ehow article very quickly once you have an idea of what your gonna write about. Tip for affiliates: You can add affiliate links at the bottom of your Ehow articles its called resources make sure you take advantage of this money making technique. Another useful tip to monetize your articles even more is to sign up for an Ehow publishers account. They pay you monthly a long as you have earned at least $10 dollars, payed directly into your Paypal account which is really cool. Note: Ehow publishers only available to U.S and U.K members at this time!

5. Blog Commenting -  If you have your own blog, or website, then blog commenting is a must especially if your just starting out online as a beginner. If you want to increase your Google page rank on your website, or blog, then comment on blogs that are similar to what your website is based around. Affiliate tip: I would concentrate on commenting on more popular blogs with a higher page rank - 2 and up - This will give you better back links and Google will award you kindly for it on there next page rank update!

6. Warrior Forum - Extremely popular one of the most popular affiliate marketing websites there is online. Huge traffic levels, and some of the best Internet marketers in the world frequent there forum. You can kill 2 birds with one stone with this forum you can learn a ton from all the helpful training tips you can find by browsing the forum.Not to mention all the free traffic you will be getting for your website, blog, or affiliate link. Note: Be an active participant on the Warrior Forum especially if your a beginning affiliate marketer, or Internet Entrepreneur.You will learn a ton on this forum trust me!

7. Yahoo Answers - A great place for free traffic but be extremely careful do not blatantly advertise or they will suspend your account in a New York minute. Trust me I know from experience, play by the rules and you should be fine. You will notice a nice jump in your traffic levels by being an active member of Yahoo Answers.

8. SEO - Better known as search engine optimization. If your a newbie reading this it doesn't happen overnight, but it is extremely important if you want to eventually kick your day job to the curb somewhere down the road.
